Come and get active with us this summer for free! You'll be able to try volleyball, badminton, tennis, football, rounders and lots more. You don't need to be good at Sport to come and join in. All ages and abilities welcome to come and play.

We are running Free Street Sport sessions aimed at 9-16 year olds in 3 green spaces this Summer Holiday. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays 5pm - 7pm. We have coaches from Sports IQ, Scorcha Skate School, Ramsgate FC and Boxing with Inclusive Sport.

Thanet District Council are working in partnership with Active Kent and Medway and NHS ONE YOU to run free 6 week courses for people currently smoking and vaping to teach them new ways to reduce stress.

Thanet District Council will be running more Cycling UK events from Spring 2026 TBA. Thanet Sprocket Rockets Community Cycle Club are still holding free monthly over winter from The Bike Shed in Margate Station.

Thanet District Council is working in partnership with KCC, NHS ONE YOU, SEK Cancer Awareness Teams and Family Hub to create Smoke Free Spaces as part of the government Smoke Free Generation scheme. The signs have been designed by local school children.
