From setting up of Google Ads account, selecting campaign goals, targeting of audience, and creating ad copy that will effectively reach out new audiences and convert potential website visitors into customers.

Cheak Hong Ian leads Council Consulting, a digital marketing training consultancy aimed at bridging the divide between agency and in-house marketing teams by helping brands take ownership of their digital marketing efficiently and sustainably.

A Mass Communication graduate, certified individual in Google Ads and Google Analytics and certified adult educator with the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA), Cheak has 12 years of experience in digital marketing and writing, both in-house and for agencies. He started off his digital marketing career managing marketing for local e-Commerce pioneer FortyTwo.sg and as an account manager with boutique digital agency Clickr Media.

His digital marketing training consultancy, Council Consulting has served clients ranging from SMEs to MNCs, including brands like Emerson, BMW, Bata, Julie’s Biscuits, NCS, Informatics, The Golden Duck, FortyTwo and Trinity Medical. Cheak works closely with upper to top level management to initiate campaigns reaching tens of millions of people within Singapore and throughout the Asia Pacific region, while training their employees to sustain and grow these initiatives, carefully managing millions in digital advertising spend to date.
