Cheak Hong Ian leads Council Consulting, and loves helping companies build a sustainable, scalable online ecosystem to reach their audiences with useful, engaging and decision-making content, anytime and anywhere. A Mass Communication graduate and ACTA certified trainer with 12 years of experience in writing and digital marketing, Cheak has learnt that content is not just any king, but one who is accessible, relatable and inspired by conversations and interactions on the ground. Cheak’s clients range from SMEs to MNCs, including brands like Emerson, Bata, Julie’s Biscuits, BMW, The Golden Duck, Informatics, NCS and CPF Board.

He works closely with upper to top level management to initiate campaigns reaching millions of people within Singapore and throughout the Asia Pacific region, while training their employees to sustain and grow these initiatives. Cheak is also a module leader with Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Film & Media Studies, where he manages and delivers the Social Media Strategies and Data Analytics modules for the Specialist Diploma in Digital Branding & Social Media Strategies, and is also an adjunct lecturer with Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Business, teaching Digital Analytics and multiple Digital Marketing modules. He has trained over 800 individuals to date.
