《亞際木刻圖繪》的緣起與工作經驗分享

《亞際木刻圖繪》共同創始成員 Krystie 将在城市書房介紹亞際木刻圖繪小組及其小誌、各地木刻團體與他們跨地域的串連工作。

近年，亞洲各地陸續出現以木刻版畫作為創作媒介的藝術群集 (art collective)，創作者借助木刻版畫的簡便特性和相對容易掌握的技術，將此一媒介結合議題帶進社區，與當地人互動，並鼓勵人們以此媒介紀錄自己的故事。這些群集分別來自印尼、馬來西亞、日本、韓國、台灣、香港、大陸、菲律賓等地，面向的群眾大多可歸納為後殖民和資本主義矛盾下的邊緣群體，如離鄉別井的移工移民、面對拆遷問題的原住民、城市的貧困民眾、被主流排擠的性小眾等等。他們的創作彷彿在提醒一種跨跨地域的共通社會問題，並提議以強調協商的創作手法去理解和拆解以上問題。亞際木刻圖繪小組自2019年起開始以小誌和展覽等方式，與亞洲各地木刻團體交流，探討並記錄另類文化的生產路徑。講座將介紹亞際木刻圖繪小組及其小誌、各地木刻團體與他們跨地域的串連工作。 講者簡介：Krystie，目前在香港生活的馬來西亞獨立研究員與策展人。《亞際木刻圖繪》共同創始成員。
