SG Agora invites you to join us for an engaging session of dialogue and reflective learning.Inspired by the ancient idea of the agora—a space where people gather to exchange ideas—SG Agora creates opportunities for thoughtful conversations that encourage self-development, critical reflection, and meaningful engagement with society.In this session, participants will explore ideas related to ethics, philosophy, human development, and humanistic perspectives on life, while engaging in open dialogue with others from diverse backgrounds.Rather than a traditional lecture, this event is designed as an interactive and reflective space where participants are encouraged to share perspectives, ask questions, and explore ideas together.

How does being irreligious affect one’s mental health in a society where religion is the norm? What challenges do non-religious individuals face and what strengths and support systems do they build?Join us for an insightful and compassionate conversation exploring the link between irreligiosity and mental well-being. We'll reflect on the existing research, examine the gaps (especially in the Singapore context), and discuss how a humanist approach can support mental health without relying on religious frameworks.Featuring interactive segments, real-life perspectives, and thoughtful dialogue, this session is open to all religious or not who are curious about how worldview, belief, and belonging intersect with mental wellness.
