Event description

MBSR Mind-Body Healing Mindfulness Course - Mar 24-27 (Sat-Tues)

(^SkillsFuture Credit can be applied and *Seniors enjoy a National Silver Academy subsidy)

This is a 3-day intensive course based on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques, concepts and practices to develop self compassion by deepening the awareness of the link between the body and the mind. Applying mindfulness and wisdom to heal the body and mind from fatigue and self-doubts, embracing the full range of emotions and experiences that life brings, may they be joyful, pleasurable, unpleasant or even painful – like worry, anxiety, anger, grief, guilt, sadness and even despair.

The course facilitates an examination and reflection on the patterns of our own mind, emotions, feelings, thoughts and actions. This awareness enables us to gently interrupt patterns of self-criticism, unhelpful thoughts and actions.

This course is led by Brahm Centre's Principal Mindfulness Trainer, Ms Angie Chew
