3-Day Mindfulness Course: Mind-Body Healing (Jun 14-16) Residential Retreat

This is a 3-day course applying mindfulness concepts and techniques to develop self compassion and deepen the awareness of the connection between the body and the mind.

This course enhances the well-being and healing of the body and mind from anxiousness, depression, psychosomatic physical and mental pain. Suitable for anyone who has a tendency to get angry, worry, feeling of guilt, grief and sadness.

The course highlights the pattern of the mind, the associated emotions and effects. This awareness empowers the adjustment to reduce self criticism, unhelpful thoughts and actions.


This course is led by NUS Adj. Assoc/Prof Angie Chew, Principal Mindfulness Trainer and Executive Director of Brahm Centre

  • A scanned copy of your student matric card will be required for verification

What to wear?
Comfortable clothings, bring a shawl in case you feel cold. Sandals and shoes for walking.

Note:
- SkillsFuture Credits can only be applied to the course fee portion of your payment ($480 for individuals; $96 for seniors eligible for NSA subsidy)
- To help maintain your mindfulness practice momentum, which otherwise gets disrupted, this is a residential retreat (we do not allow participants to commute from home).
- All accommodation are in standard single rooms with A/C

Registration Process:
If you wish to use your SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) towards this course, please first register and pay a deposit online on Brahm Centre’s Eventbrite page. You will receive an Eventbrite Order Confirmation PDF, which you can then use to upload on the SFC website to make your claim submission. Your course deposit will be returned to your credit card (online payment) or by cheque (cash/nets payment) when Brahm Centre receives the funds from SFC, subject to the amount successfully claimed.




^ SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) Use:

- Log in to the SkillsFuture website http://www.skillsfuture.sg/credit to submit your claim using your Singpass, and upload the Eventbrite Order Confirmation PDF as supporting document. You may submit your claim up to 60 days before start of course till day of course commencement.

* National Silver Academy (NSA) subsidy
- The NSA subsidy is for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents aged 50 and above.
- Arrive 30 minutes before class starts to complete the application process.
- Sighting of NRIC is required on the first day of class for verification
- Participants who do not fulfill the above criteria will not be eligible for NSA funding and will be required to pay the course fee in full; no refunds will be provided.



CANCELLATION POLICY:
- ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, but you may transfer this booking to a friend, using the same ticket category, should you not be able to attend, with a $10 admin fee.
