398.2 Storytelling Festival 2021 is back with exciting, new sessions! Be enchanted by the fascinating stories as our talented storytellers whisk you and your family away on extraordinary adventures. Let the world of fairy tales and folktales mesmerise and enthral you!
This festival is brought to you by Storytelling Association (Singapore) and Public Libraries Singapore.
This programme is suitable for children aged 4 to 9 years old.
*Do keep a lookout for the storytelling sessions in November.
Theme: Over the Hills and Far Away
Over the hills and far away, strange things happen. Pots talk and cockroaches marry! Want to find out more? Then, this story expedition is for you! Come with us to lands far away; from the USA to Australia, stopping in Palestine along the way.
About the Storytellers
Kausar Karimi
A speech and drama instructor for pre-schoolers, Kausar loves listening to stories and adding drama to them.
Akila Krishnakumar
Akila discovered the magic of stories by chance after spending 15 years in the IT industry. She tells all kinds of stories to share that magic with children and adults.
Nancy Leppard
Nancy loves traveling and bringing stories back from those travels. She has been working with children for almost 3 decades.
