Description
A more meditative approach to Yoga, Yin aims at cultivating awareness of one's inner silence and bringing to light a universal interconnecting quality. Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga where poses are typically held for 5 minutes or more. Longer static holds enable access to fascia and connective tissue enabling increased flexibility in the body. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system & has a grounding, calming and revitalising quality. A regular Yin Practice creates profound energetic and emotional shifts in the body and the mind.
Every Thursday from 7.30 pm to 8.45 pm for 10 sessions on :
- Oct 5, 12, 19, 26
- Nov 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
- Dec 7
Registration closes on Tuesday, 3 October 2017.
Bring your own yoga mat and come in loose comfy clothes. Limited places available. Minimum 20 participants to start the class.
Course fee : BF members $70; non-members $80.
