5 Day Holiday Camp - July 11-15

DesignTinkers provide fun and creative workshops in Art, Design and Architecture; designed to pique curiosity, prompt inquiries, challenge norms, investigate, test ideas and get to unique outcomes through a Design process. By exposing children to design ideas, concepts and aesthetics, we introduce the Design Thinking process as a way to problem solve and be creative in finding solutions.

DesignTinkers 5-day Holiday Camp offer various hands-on and inquiry-based projects exploring ideas from Design A Home, Build An Eco-Home, Re-imagining Communal Play + Space, Envisioning Classroom of the Future to various creative make and build activities designed for children to inquire, think critically and learn new skills to prototype their ideas from 2D to 3D. We encourage children to collaborate in teams to work on the projects, learning to communicate and problem solve effectively, developing the essential 21st Century Skills in a fun and engaging way.

DesignTinkers camps are specially curated and led by instructors who are experienced architects with the passion and experience working with young children to nurture their creative interests. Camps are held in our spacious and conducive classroom for kids to create freely and explore various make-and-build activities.

Time: Monday – Fridays from 9.30am-3pm.

Age: 7 - 14 years old (Participants will be grouped by age on the day of the event)

Price: 5 Day Camp - $725

Price includes snacks and lunch. All materials will be provided.

Cancellation Policy:

For cancellations of camp/ workshop due to unforeseen COVID restrictions, a full refund will be issued to you.

Given the limited availability of slots due to the small size of our camp/ workshop, we do not accept cancellations once booked and full payment made, if there is a change of mind.

Camp/ workshop bookings are however transferable to another child of the same age group if your child is unable to attend, if a written request is made 7 days prior to camp/ workshop.

DesignTinkers reserves the right to cancel a camp/ workshop if minimum group size sign-ups requirement is not obtained, or when Covid-19 safe management measures cannot be met, you will be notified 5 days before camp start date and a full refund will be issued to you.

Given the nature of a camp/workshop format, we are unable to offer make-up camps in the event of a no-show or cancellation. Any alternative arrangements that may be offered out of goodwill (e.g. joining a similar camp at a different location/date/time) are strictly subject to availability. No refunds will be given if an alternative arrangement cannot be arranged.

In the event that your child presents any Covid-19 symptoms on any given day of the camp/ workshop, we seek your cooperation to see a doctor, keep them home and not attend the camp/ workshop. Children who appear to our facilitators to be symptomatic on the day of camp/ workshop will not be allowed to join and they will be required to be picked up promptly. We will issue a credit note upon the receipt of a medical certificate, and an alternative arrangement will be made for your child to attend another session suitable for his age and interest if available, otherwise, a full refund will be issued to you.
