Alhamdulillah, All Praises be to God. is pleased to announce the 6th Mawlid Festival 2017, happening on Friday 10 November 2017 at the Singapore Expo Max Atria.  This year's Mawlid Festival features a keynote address by His Eminence As-Sayyid As-Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani, and advice by Ustaz Dr Leyaket Ali, Ustaz Masruhan Kyai Choteb and Ustaz Muhammad Zahid Mohd Zin, plus recitals by Singapore's own Haqqani Ensemble, Anass Samsar (Morocco), and reciters from Indonesia and Malaysia!

Objectives of The Mawlid Festival
The main objective of the Mawlid Festival is to instill in the hearts of our participants the love and honour of the Beloved of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (s).  Through the speeches, the participants will learn about the life and times of Prophet Muhammad, hopefully inspiring our participants to emulate the beautiful character of Prophet Muhammad (s).  The Mawlid Festival is also a showcase of the diverse and vibrant spiritual and cultural heritage of Islam through the various expressions of love for Allah and His Messenger (s), and through the recitals and performances, participants will have a heightened appreciation of the different genres and cultures of Islamic music and arts.

Program & Language
The Mawlid Festival will include speeches in English (with some doses in Malay) by various local and international scholars and speakers. The Mawlid Festival will also feature several local and international artistes and groups who will recite/perform various poetry and songs in celebrating the birth of Sayyidina Muhammad, through the languages of Arabic, English and Malay.
