What to expect from these 8 weeks?
1. Three health screenings:
• Pre-program screening to evaluate your health status at the start of the program
• Post-program screening to see all the progress you’ve made.
• 9 months after program
2. Eight weeks of engaging activities and building new friendships. Participants are grouped into small teams, encouraging the formation of friendships and support to develop a lifetime of healthy habits
Weekly topics include:
- Developing a healthy lifestyle
- Becoming more physically active
- Choosing healthy fats
- Choosing healthy carbohydrates
- Achieving and maintaining a healthy weight
- Enhancing mind-body connections
- Coping with stress
- Preventing disease & getting appropriate health checks
