About this event

About this Event

The night is alive at Bras Basah. As you soak yourself in with the spectacular sights and sounds of the light installations during the Singapore Night Festival, join May Hui to explore the history of some of our oldest iconic building in Bras Basah. This includes St Joseph Institution, Cathedral of Good Shepherd and National Museum of Singapore. We will uncover the stories of how Singapore Sling was invented and Michael Jackson’s stay in Raffles Hotel. Find out how the King of Pop met Ah Meng, the Orang Utan icon of Singapore Zoo without ever stepping foot in the zoo itself! Walk through the Bras Basah Bookshops with us and hear the memories and stories of these old bookshops in the area.

The tour will take you on a journey through time. It’s the perfect way to get your nostalgia fix amidst the contemporary and flattering lights during the Singapore Night Festival.
