We often hear that AI will drive massive dislocations in the global workforce, but what if AI can also help people find jobs, develop skills, and plan for careers more effectively?

Many organizations—including leading multinationals, local startups, government agencies, and educational institutions—are working to harness the power of AI to support career preparation, lifelong learning, and workforce resilience.

While AI will almost certainly destroy some types of jobs, this panel will explore the potential for AI to help people navigate an increasingly complex and competitive job market.

Speakers’ Profile: 

Ronghui Ji, Data Scientist & Labour Market Analyst, JobTech

As a labour market analyst and data scientist with training in mathematics and economics, Ronghui currently manages several cross-disciplinary applications of AI in education and workforce development. During her tenure with JobTech, she has advised governments and MNCs on the latest job market trends, workforce skills analytics, and competitive human capital strategies.

She is also the co-principal investigator for an on-going research project with the NUS School of Computing, which works on an AI-recommendation engine that aligns academic modules and jobs market opportunities.


Sean Sutton, Head of Marketing and Communications, CXS International

Sean is the chief storyteller at CXS. He brings 15+ years’ experience working with major education and academic publishers such as McGraw-Hill Education and Cambridge University Press and developing best-selling e-learning products, solutions and platforms for international markets.

He has worked across the world in Australia, Japan, the U.K., Singapore, and Malaysia.


Pei Ying Chua, APAC Lead for Economic Graph Analytics, LinkedIn

Pei Ying’s role at LinkedIn includes government-focused data analytics projects, development of upskilling and education policy, and customised labour market insights that are at the core of LinkedIn’s vision to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce.

Previously, Pei Ying was the Head of Economics at Grab. She has also served as the VP of Finance and Social Impact for Conjunct Consulting, South-East Asia’s first social change consultancy, and is an active journal reviewer for the Society for Imaging Science and Technology.

She holds combined BSc in Vision Science and Neuroscience, MPhil in Neuroscience, and MA in Management.


Jael Chng, Founder and Chief Problem Solver, My Working Title

Jael is the founder and Chief Problem Solver of ‘My Working Title’, a Career Design movement + startup that inspires and empowers individuals to actively design their careers.

Since its launch in September 2017, My Working Title’s products are in 14 countries and their clients include LinkedIn, Workforce Singapore Group, and the National University of Singapore. Prior to starting the company, she spent 15 years in marketing, communications, and management consulting.

She holds a B. Bus (Hons) in Business Studies (Marketing Specialisation) from Nanyang Technological University.

Moderator's Profile:

Will Greene, Head of Communications and Special Projects, ALSET

Will is a writer and strategy consultant focused on Asia's emerging R&D ecosystems, particularly in the healthcare and education sectors.

He currently serves as Head of Communications and Special Projects at the Institute for Application of Learning Science and Educational Technology (ALSET) at NUS, where he manages a project that uses AI for course suggestion and career planning.

He also runs Tigermine, a consultancy that helps science and technology leaders succeed in Asia with market research, marketing, and business development services.
