Based on his many years of experience, Dr Sam Vasikaran will walk us through how to interpret Thyroid Function Tests using the minimal information available to the clinical laboratory. Attendees will learn how to add comments to the lab report, that will be useful and appreciated by our clinical colleagues.

About the Speaker:
Samuel D. Vasikaran, MD, FRCPA, is Consultant Chemical Pathologist in Perth, Western Australia. He was previously Clinical Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Western Australia.
Dr Vasikaran initiated the RCPAQAP Patient Report Comments program in 2000 and was Chair until 2018. He also chaired the IFCC Working Group on the Harmonization of Interpretive Comments External Quality Assessment (2015 – 2019). He has published more than 130 papers and book chapters.
