In this webinar series on Interpretative Commenting, chemical pathology experts will discuss how to interpret laboratory test results, and add useful comments to the lab report, using only the minimal information available to the clinical laboratory.

Dr. Nilika Wijeratne, our guest speaker for Wednesday 25th August, will explain serum protein electrophoresis (SPEP) and the interpretation of SPEP results.

About the Speaker:

Dr Nilika Wijeratne is a Chemical Pathologist at Dorevitch Pathology, Melbourne, Australia. She is also an Honorary Chemical Pathologist in Monash Health and an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Medicine, Monash University.

Dr Wijeratne is a member of the RCPAQAP Advisory Committee on Patient Report Comments and Multidisciplinary Working Party on Monoclonal Gammopathy. She is a RCPA College Examiner and NATA assessor.
