Lead Trainers

Dr. Lin Woon Leong is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Law, Taylor’s University. Since completing his PhD from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and his MBA from East Anglia University, UK, his research focus has been in the areas of corporate political strategy, business ethics, and corporate social responsibility. Within ethics, he explores factors influencing business and organizational ethics, and ethical behaviour. His other key research area in corporate social responsibility focuses on green environmental practices and its relationship to organizational practices performance. He has published numerous articles in refereed journals, including journals indexed by Thomson Web of Science (SSCI) and Scopus. His publications include Business Strategy and Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, The North American Economics and Finance, Sustainability, International Journal of Economics and Management, International Financial Study, Industrial Marketing Management, Administrative Sciences, Journal of Cleaner Production, Geojournal, and Environmental Science and Pollution Research.

Dr. Feranita is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Law, Taylor’s University, Malaysia. She co-founded and leads the Family Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Hub at Taylor’s University, where she provides consulting, coaching and training for business families and entrepreneurs. With a rich global exposure spanning seven countries, Dr. Feranita brings a wealth of experience, agility, and cultural intelligence to the team. Adept at working in an ambiguous environment and diverse teams, her mastery in English, Mandarin and Indonesian ensures smooth communication in various contexts. Dr. Feranita adopts an innovative, structured, and analytical approach to solving today’s business problems, based on insights derived from her academic research background. Dr. Feranita holds a PhD in Management (UK) with a research interest in family business, entrepreneurship, innovation, and university-industry collaborations. Coming from a family business background herself, she feels strongly for the struggles and challenges faced by business families. She is also a certified professional coach who coaches business families and entrepreneurial startups.

This workshop is specially configured to assist SMEs to understand the growing business case for sustainable solutions and to learn how to manage and grow a sustainable business by incorporating various sustainability concepts and principles into their organization strategies.

Module 1: Introduction to Sustainability (1 Hour)

economic standpoint.

- Describe multiple metrics for measuring sustainability, including the triple bottom line (TBL); environmental, social and governance (ESG) and the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs).
