ASEF Culture will organise an online Public Forum titled Asia-Europe Cultural Relations - A look ahead on Thursday 9 February 2023, from 5 to 6.30pm SGT, as part of the series "Recalibrating the Compass: What future for Asia-Europe Cultural Relations?"
This final session open to the public will invite a group of experts in the cultural sector from Asia and Europe to discuss challenges and approaches in Asia-Europe cultural relations, based on findings and recommendations of the consultation process developed throughout 2022.
Taking a step forward from the roundtable sessions recommendations, the Public Forum will address urgent themes for the arts and culture sectors including the call for change in the current challenging geopolitical context and the need to invest in capacity-building, awareness-raising and advocacy to support a more balanced cultural cooperation.
