Description

The highly anticipated pole challenge is back, bigger and more spectacular.
The inaugural Asia-Pacific Pole Challenge 2019 is jointly organised by Acro Polates and actiFIT Asia, where we will see some of the Fittest and the Most Artistic Pole Athletes from the region meet and battle it out.

The competing levels are Professional, Semi-Professional and Amateur, each with 6 categories covering

(1) Exotic Female

(2) Pole Art Female

(3) Pole Art Male

(4) Pole Fit Female

(5) Pole Fit Male

(6) Doubles.

Three competting levels includes: PROFESSIONAL, SEMI-PROFESSIONAL, AMATEUR

PROFESSIONAL:

Participants who have won top place in an international/ regional pole competition in the category they are registering for, or have been a pole instructor with more than three years’ experience.

SEMI-PROFESSIONAL:

Participants who have been runner-up of an international/ regional pole competition in the category they are registering for, or have been a pole instructor with min one to max three years’ experience.

AMATEUR:

Participants who have never taught a pole-related course, nor won any international/ regional pole competition.

Finalists Enrolment Fee:

PROFESSIONAL - US$100++/category

SEMI-PROFESSIONAL - US$50++/category

AMATEUR - US$20++/category

RULES & REGULATIONS:

  1. All finalists will have to pay the enrolment fee and confirm their participation on or before 19 February 2019.
  2. The Final held on 23 March 2019 at the actiFIT Asia 2019 at Marina Bay Sands Hall E, from 10am to 8 pm.
  3. Exotic Category allows for heels /boots, up to 50% of floor work and use of props like hats, chair, feather boas etc in the entry video. However, for the finals, all props used have to be pre-approved.
  4. Pole Art/Fit Category strictly no heels nor boots. Bare feet, sports shoes, ballroom dance shoes with heels no higher than 2.5” are acceptable. Pole Fit category should largely showcase pole tricks; any floor work and transitions must demonstrate athleticism. Pole Art Category should contain a theme or story, and should display a good balance of pole and floor work to illustrate the plot.
  5. Doubles Category demonstrates teamwork and synergy of 2 people both on and off the pole.
  6. Dress code for all videos: appropriate, any costume deemed obscene and showing too much may result in disqualification
  7. The Organisers reserve the right to publish any photographs or videos pertaining to this event.
  8. Participants are expected to accept interviews by media or publications and stay positive and cooperative throughout the process.
  9. Participants in the finals should bear their own travel and accommodation cost and expenses, possess adequate and appropriate insurance coverage.
  10. By submitting your entry, you agree that you are entering this challenge/event on your own free will and you shall not hold the Organisers or partners liable for any injuries, illness that may result in disability or even death sustained as a result directly or indirectly from your participation in this event.
  11. All enrolment and payment once submitted are non-refundable.
  12. The Organisers of the Challenge reserve the rights to amend the regulations if deem fit to uphold this challenge to its highest honour, with or without prior notice. All decisions made are final.
