In the course of their work, accountants and auditors often need to elicit information. Occasionally, they may need to ascertain whether certain act or wrongdoing were done with intention, and hence the errors are in fact fraud. During such process, accountants and auditors would need to have the skills to convince interviewee to tell the whole truth. Various strategies, logical reasoning, questioning skills and psychological techniques can be deployed by the interviewer to assist interviewee find his/ her ways to the best available option. With proper training and practicing, the accountants and auditors will be able to seek out the truth professionally and confidently
