Basics 1 - Coding Camp for Ages 7 - 8
We welcome students who turn 7 years old this year and have started Primary 1 in the local school system or Year 1 in the international school system. No prior coding experience is needed to join this introductory course.
STARTING WITH SCRATCH
Get your little one starting with coding through this fun introduction to simple coding concepts through concrete play! Code Campers will be introduced to block-based programming: using Scratch and are taught computer skills to sufficient equip them for their long but fulfilling coding journey with us!
This 8-hour course aims to have students gain familiarity with coding concepts & computers to better prepare for our Basics sequence, offered to children ages 7-12.
Course Schedule
This is a 4-lesson course. Lessons will be conducted over 4 days, 22-25 Nov 2021 at our Tampines campus. Please rest assured our students' well being is our priority and we have measures put in place to ensure optimal safety for students attending our classes. Please ensure your children bring their Trace Together tokens to every class.
Students will need to bring their own pencil cases; we will provide all other material including laptops.
