About this event
As the first community horn club in Singapore, BNHC will be presenting a caricature of music, to showcase the unique timbres and spectrum of the horn sound.
To showcase the diversity of the horn, apart from the traditional hunting music, be prepared to feast upon music from Pilgrim’s Chorus from Tannhäuser, Andante Cantabile from Tchaikovsky’s String Quartet No.1 Opus 11, Dona Nobis Pacem, as well as Xinyao Medley and My Neighbour Totoro.
About the Presenter
Bishan North Horn Club (BNHC) was conceptualised in August 2017, with robust support from Bishan North Community Club Management Committee (CCMC) and Bishan North Community Arts and Culture Club (CACC). It seeks to engage the community by conducting music and non-music related event on a regular basis; and to provide an inclusive community platform for school leavers and working adults to continue their passion for music making.
