Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Are you a parent who wants your child to be better prepared as a Christian to engage with the "secular" world, to see the relevance of their faith to all that's happening around them, or be able to connect their "church life" to "life outside the church"?

Or are you a pastor or youth leader who is looking for new ways to inspire your youth or young adults - many of whom have been faithfully attending church but still feel like something is missing in their walk? Do you have members who need to be better equipped in the faith before they enter University or start a new job?

If the above describes you, join us for our Bringing Faith Back to Life seminar! Through a combination of lecture and small-group discussion, we'll look at:

  • How the worldview of dualism has subtly but effectively eroded the fullness of life as promised under the lordship of Christ

  • How the worldview of the kingdom of God can restore us to a life of greater focus and meaning, as we better understand why we believe what we believe

  • Some of the resources available to help equip the next generation with a worldview of the kingdom of God.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you can simply show us the ticket on your phone or other device.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, you are free to pass your ticket/registration to another person if you are unable to attend. We would appreciate notification, though, should you be unable to find a replacement, so we can ensure as little waste as possible.

I did not register for the seminar in time. May I still attend?

While we will not to turn anyone away that may have heard about the seminar at the last minute, we ask for your understanding if we run out of any printed material that will be distributed to seminar participants. We will certainly try to get you a set if you get in touch with us after the seminar.

I am neither a pastor, youth leader, nor parent, but this topic is of interest to me. May I still sign up?

While our target participants for this seminar are pastors, youth leaders, and parents (which would have bearing on the perspectives shared during small group discussions), we welcome anyone who has an interest in the topic!
