Do get ready the following items before the programme. Items needed are:

  • An apple
  • A butter knife or an apple cutter (for adult use only)
  • Lemon juice
  • Water
  • White vinegar
  • Salt water
  • Paper towels
  • 5 Plastic cups
  • Permanent marker and paper for labelling purposes
  • Clock or timer (can use a handphone stop watch for timing)
  • Tongs or spoon
  • Colour pencils
  • Science experiment recording sheet (please print from this link: https://file.go.gov.sg/apple-changes-page.pdf)

This is a parent-child programme. The programme is suitable for children aged 4 to 6 years old.
