About the Programme

Nurturing your own garden at home can be a great way to keep active, even as we age. From selecting your plants to tending over them to watching their ups and downs as they grow, gardening can bring much personal satisfaction and foster bonding with your family members. At this talk, join our speaker from Edible Garden City as she takes you through how you can begin your journey and start your own garden at home.

This programme is specially organised in conjunction with the re-opening of Choa Chu Kang Public Library.

Did you know that the newly revamped Choa Chu Kang Public Library is NLB's first nature-themed library with an indoor garden? To get more updates about this new library, visit our Public Libraries Singapore Facebook page at www.facebook.com/publiclibrarysg!

About the Speaker

Ms. Eunice Ong joined Edible Garden City as a fresh graduate from National University of Singapore. Trained in Life Sciences, she joined as an urban farmer, as she wanted to find the perfect marriage of her lifelong love of plants with her educational background and expertise.

About Edible Garden City

Edible Garden City is a social enterprise that is dedicated to creating social change through community-centric agriculture. We are a diverse group of local farmers with the common goal of helping cities become more self-sufficient, while growing food in a manner that is healing to the environment. Additionally, growing our own food not only connects us with nature, it also improves our physical and mental health.
