Code-Along #9: Let's Optimize Santa's Route

In this session, help Santa optimize his present delivery route before Christmas this year!

Are you<ul><li>proficient in Python?</li><li>interested working in logistics and operations, particularly in route optimization?</li><li>hoping to explore a topic that isn&#x27;t commonly covered?</li></ul>Join UpLevel&#x27;s final Code-Along of the year!UpLevels ends the year 2021 with a bang as co-founder and instructor Jackie teaches you to optimize routes for Santa Claus as he traverses different locations. You will be given route data, and you&#x27;ll get to try popular and classic route optimization techniques.For those of you who attended our previous session on implementing GAN architecture with dog pictures, we&#x27;ll be using the same format as that session. The code and data will be prepared in advance and shared with you during the session itself. All you need to do is take notes and make comments!

Jackie is co-founder and chief instructor of UpLevel. He was previously chief academic officer of UpCode Academy and has taught Python and data science for over 5 years. He holds a PhD in applied machine learning. He strongly believes in project-based learning, where students get to do end-to-end projects and build real data product prototypes.In real-world experience, he has assisted regional MNCs and SMEs in their digital transformation, including the design of a P2P algorithm for the unbanked population in SEA. He is also an international speaker on entrepreneurship and AI. Prior to UpLevel, Jackie was co-founder of InsurTech startup fundMyLife, which made use of deep learning to match consumers with financial advisors. He has also been awarded Forbes 30 under 30, among other accolades.
