  • Build a native mobile application with Rollbase

Pre-requisites:

  • Keen interest to be a start-up
  • Bring your business ideas and test it out at the hands-on session
  • Basic knowledge in JavaScript
  • All attendees are required to register to Progress Pacific using Google Mail (GMail) address. Registration URL is https://pacific.progress.com/console/register
  • We will do application development using Progress’ Hosted Cloud solution
  • Bring your own device (BYOD)
  • No minimum hardware specification is required
  • Required web browsers that support cookies & JavaScript enabled
      • Web browser that supports HTML 5 would be an ideal, but not mandatory
      • HTML 5 support is mainly for Mobile application testing only. If your browser doesn’t support HTML 5, you can test the application by installing its binary to your device/mobile phone.

        • Geolocation
        • Device Orientation
        • Local Storage

Marthen Luther
Java Solution Architect, Developer & Pre-sales working in Progress

Marthen have been designing, architecting and developing Java enterprise application for many government bodies, banks, telcos and MNC projects. His cloud computing interest started back in early 2009 while he was leading a team of talented software engineers to build a public IaaS cloud solution for Savvis Inc, an USA managed hosting and enterprise cloud company.

He is developer at heart and passionate about application development. He has been using Java since its early days back in 1995 as an alternative to Turbo Pascal (an embryo of Delphi) but extensively using Java (JEE) from 1997 until now.
