Event Details

Sheila Coronel, the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism's Dean of Academic Affairs and Director of the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism is looking forward to meeting alumni and prospective students. This is a rare occasion to meet up with a senior member of the J-school administration and catch up with the 20-30 J-school alumni we have in Singapore (who knew there were so many?) over a huge Malaysian-style buffet!

Dean Coronel will be sharing more about the data courses Columbia has introduced in its graduate curriculum and in its continuing professional education series. The school has also introduced a core digital skills programme for all its students as part of a major curriculum revamp last year. The Journalism School is also home to the Tow Center for Digital Journalism and the Helen Gurley Brown Institute of Media Innovation, in collaboration with Stanford University's College of Engineering.

If you know of folks who are keen to apply to the J-school, please share this invitation with them!

The event costs just $20 per person, thanks to a generous subsidy from the J-school. Cash bar for drinks. Pay organiser upon arrival.

Please RSVP by Wed 26 Nov to facilitate catering and seating arrangements. Reserve your seat today!
