About the programme
No silence here as we gather to read aloud and listen to stories' highs and lows. Discover books that you might have otherwise missed, or sit in for an alternative community reading experience.
This month, we'll be reading The Ladies' Book of Etiquette, and Manual of Politeness by Florence Hartley.
Co-organised with Read-Aloud Sg Book Club. For adults.
Important programme information
1. Participants will take turns to read aloud different lines/sections from the selected book.
2. Upon joining the virtual room, you will be given a number at the front of your name so you’ll know when it is your turn to read aloud.
3. Participants will be asked to introduce themselves at the start of the session.
4. There will be short ‘breaks’ in the middle and at the end of the session, where you can discuss what you have just read.
5. This programme is targeted at adults.
6. No prior reading is required before the session.
About the series
Communities is an alternative learning environment where you can pick up a plethora of skills by sharing and experimenting with others. This series is built on the belief that teaching and learning can happen without a teacher.
