Where can I get COSMO's event ticket?

For now, Eventbrite is our main ticketing platform. We are in the midst of building our own website, the world’s first social life platform with ticketing features.

Can I just walk in and buy the tickets on event day?

Accepted Answer

Yes you can.
However, the last minute ticket price will be higher on event day as seats will be harder to sought. Our tickets and entry ends 1 hour before event ends. You will still need to buy it online through Eventbrite. When it comes to payment, we are fully digitalised.

Can I come alone?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it’s perfectly normal to come by yourself. As we grow into adulthood, it is common that we have lesser social connections due to other priorities in life that has taken our full attention or we have neglected to make time for. This is why COSMO create social events to turn things around.

Can I bring a guest along?

Accepted Answer

Yes of course. Just get them a ticket. You can even bring your whole village or planet along! :)

Why is COSMO social events not free for everyone?

Accepted Answer

Currently, we are not sponsored by the government nor any private organisation to provide free events. There is a cost for us to print our event item as well as advertising fees. We pay our event staff an excellent rates to provide an exceptional & engaging experience for our attendees.

Will there be FREE entry for Ladies forever?

Accepted Answer

The free entry for ladies is a seasonal promotion. We have observed that the show up rate for free tickets tends to be lower than when the tickets are paid for. Hence, it's unlikely for us to make it a permanent promotion to improve better turnout rate.

Yes, for as long as we can(Aside from Free Flow Drinks Event). We are creating a new generation's social life platform that connects people in real life. We want our next generation to build a great social life than to be consumed by the negative & isolating effects of current social media platform.

Will University Students Entry be FREE forever?  How can we repay the favour? (Part 2)

Making our events free for younger generation is a gift from us to the society that we wish to change for the better. Students can volunteer for us for our 'Social Projects', help out during our Social Events or reach out to us about their unique talents.

Can I refund my ticket?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as it’s 7 days before your selected event date.

Why are tickets only refundable 7 days before the event day? (Part 1)

Accepted Answer

Due to the nature of our activity, we need to use private venues which usually comes with minimum spend requirements per person, event space cost or a minimum attending size. Therefore, we need attendees to be committed in showing up.

Moreover on popular weekends, we are fighting for spaces with the public patrons who makes reservations. Therefore we need to know our attending number ahead of time and inform our venue partners.

Accepted Answer

Frequent cancellations and no shows by attendees will lead to lower numbers than informed. This can cost us our reputation and eventually, a lost of a venue partner and space. In some cases, charges for each attending seat applies even if they do not show up.

How do I refund my ticket?

Accepted Answer

You can request for a refund via Eventbrite’s auto refund system. Go to ‘Tickets’ > ‘Orders’ > Click ‘Cancel Order’ or any refund button where applicable. You may read eventbrite’s FAQ page for more assistance.

How do I transfer my ticket?

Can I enter the event entrance twice?

Your QR code can only be scanned once. Please ensure you get an event sticker or tag upon entry before heading elsewhere and back again for reentry. To prevent ticket fraud, we cannot allow different person to reuse the same ticket to enter. Thanks for supporting our event! :D

Who & What is COSMO?

COSMO is a social tech startup. We are creating a tech platform to connect individuals in real life  and empower their social life. Additionally, we host social events for adults in all walks of life. Both 'Singles' and 'Families' (Coming in the future).

Does COSMO earns commission from the venue?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not earn any commission from the food & beverage sales attendees purchased from our venue partner.

Will COSMO help me to get contact details of an attendee i’m attracted to?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not do that. Primarily, we organise and host social events. We do not record attendees contact details nor provide contract tracing for any attendees. Any contact details we have are strictly only meant for event & refund related contact purposes from our own company.

How do I get the contact details of someone i'm attracted to or whom I wish to make friends with?

We encourage all attendees to muster up courage to ask for the attendees' contact details. It is attendees' responsibility to ensure they are doing so timely before their desired person leaves the event. We strictly do not provide any contact tracing services.

Is COSMO a matchmaking company?

No, we are not. We are a social tech start up that focuses on using technology to enhance one’s social life in the real world. Our social events was primary meant for growing one's social connection. Families events are secondary aspect which helps to deepen their existing relationships

What food & beverages will be available?

Do check the link in our events description. Otherwise, you can Google the venue's website to find their menu. Ultimately, their menu should not be your biggest factor in coming to our social events because people are worth more than food & beverages! We do not host events in expensive venues. :)

Why is there a ‘COSMO Exclusive Discount’ and why does it differs from one location to another? (P1)

COSMO works hard to negotiate discount deals with their venue partners to benefit all its attendees. Each venue comes up with a deal that they are comfortable with and it will be different from one establishment to another or from its period of time.

Some venue may not offer any special deals. The discount deals attendees do get, can often offset the cost of their event tickets.

They will be posted our Instagram few days later. Our Instagram id is 'cosmo.social.sg'.

Yes, we are!
If you are a warm and sociable person, we would love to have you. Both introverts & extroverts are valuable in their own ways. Currently we only have part time event roles. You may find out more in our Instagram or LinkedIn page.

Why Is COSMO giving FREE & Discounted Tickets for Ladies yet for guys it's higher? (Pt.1)

COSMO's regular event ticket is meant to be S$15.
On the contrary, we have heavily subsided the tickets for all genders known as 'Early Bird Tickets'.

Limited quantity of FREE ladies tickets ensures a minimum participants from their gender.

We know how daunting it is to attend a single's event for the ladies and we want them to feel loved not preyed on. So we have given a further treats by discounting their regular tickets.

What's The Maximum Seats For The Event?

Accepted Answer

At the moment, we cap each event at 130 pax. This is designed to avoid social anxiety due to large crowds.

30 pax for University Students (Undergraduates Only).
100 Pax for Working Adults with equal gender ratio of ladies and gentlemen.
