About Our Trainer

Dora Ho

Ms Dora Ho joined the Singapore Polytechnic (SP) in 1992 as a Senior Lecturer. Prior to that, she was Director of Training for Asia for management consulting firm Alexander Proudfoot PLC. During the course of Dora’s experience with SP Business School, besides teaching Financial Management, Investment Analysis and Start-up Finance, she had personally supervised the successful completion of nearly 60 projects for companies across industries and coordinated more than 300 projects for 200 companies.

Prior to joining the Singapore Polytechnic's Business School, Dora had 10 years of management consulting experience with the Alexander Proudfoot Company, part of the Management Consulting Group PLC. Dora has completed projects successfully for clients in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, the UK and North America. These projects involved identifying and implementing tangible and sustainable operational enhancements that increased profitability in the organizations which included 6 banks in Asia.

Dora was part of a team to develop training to certify practicing management consultants (PMC) in Singapore – the PMC scheme was a collaboration between the then Spring Singapore and the Institute of Management Consultants.
