Mac OS Yosemite by Linus Lim
OS X Yosemite is the next version of the Mac operating system. Go hands-on to find out if you should dive in now. Flat and modern designs are leading the trend now and Apple has pushed it further into new heights to give us a even better user experience.
Linus will discuss some of the design changes in this new OS and show you how you can sign up to get the public release of Yosemite to install on your machine.
Robert Cristobal have been in the digital art and web design industry for roughly 15 years. A few years ago he bought his first DSLR camera, and the rest was history. He started taking portraits, landscapes and events. And he enjoys doing photography more than anything else he has done before.
A couple of years ago, he took up an HD Filmmaking class in one of the film schools here in Singapore, he picked up everything he needs to learn and started putting it into practice. It is then that he discovered that his real passion is in telling stories through authentic and inspiring videos.
Video is the most powerful tool to communicate as he learned from a dear friend who is also a producer and a CEO of a creative video agency here in Singapore. There are still a lot of stuff to be learned, but he’s happy to have worked with different people in this region and in some parts of Asia and be able to share his passion with them.
Under the current company he is working for, he was involved in work for clients like OCBC, SMRT, Standard Chartered, and Our Better World.
All his film projects are shot on Canon 5D MII, audio from Zoom H4n/H6 and processed in After Effects and Premiere Pro CS6.
A former mobile software engineer that found UX & Design world fascinating. Worked for British Telecoms, Telenor Malaysia, AirAsia. Currently designing UX for mobile at Viki. Tweets @borryshasian.
Linus Lim is the President for Creative Crew and Singapore official Adobe user group manager.
By profession, Linus is a UI/UX designer who believe that great product does not come by chance. What's so amazing is we are all users of great products and good user experience isn't so much the technology that makes it possible, but how one is able to shift the thinking required to make it the first place.
Linus also manages Fireworks CC, a screen design tool for UI / UX designers.
