His research in Graphene Plasmonics enabled manipulation of light & matter interaction on a nanoscale level. He has designed and built RF & Microwave systems, advanced optical test and measurement apparatuses for A*STAR (Singapore), Sumitomo Electric Labs (Japan) and FUNSOM Institute (China). He has over 10 publications in top Photonics journals including Nature and built a mobile phone, from ground up, when he was in college. As the CTO and Co-Founder of Transcelestial Technologies, Danesh is building the world’s First High Bandwidth Space Laser Communication Network that aims to bring the second half of our civilization online. This involves developing a laser communication solution that replaces existing wireless communication technology using a constellation of Nanosatellites using lasers instead of traditional wireless technology to transfer and relay data for ground, satellite and deep space applications. This will be the fastest (>100 Gbps), long-distance, point-to-point wireless communication network possible. At Transcelestial Dr. Danesh is building the world’s First High Bandwidth Space Laser Communication Network that aims to bring the second half of our civilization online.
