About this event

There is a common misconception about counselling. Many believed that counselling is for ‘crazy’, ‘mentally insane’ or ‘mentally unstable’ people.

In the developed nation of Singapore, there is a stigma where it is a sign of weakness for people to seek professional help.

However, in today’s competitive and stressful living environment, there is a greater need for people to seek professional help.

In this seminar, participants will learn about:

  • The mental health landscape in Singapore
  • What exactly is counselling and psychotherapy
  • What goes on in the counselling room
  • How can counselling help you and your loved ones
  • How to seek professional help

This seminar is suited for general public with no knowledge on psychology or mental health. We welcome any professionals or students in this field to come forward and share their knowledge.
