Design Perspectives x Golden Pin Salon

The Salon series was founded by Taiwan's Golden Pin Design Award in 2015, and this May, audience members in Singapore will be the first in 2018 to participate in the popular event. Over the past 3 years, the Salon series has toured 19 cities in Asia, from Taipei, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai to Kuala Lumpur. To date, more than 80 speakers have taken to the Salon stage to share their work and vision on design, providing designers, business owners, and design enthusiasts with access to some of the region's most celebrated design professionals.

Speakers:

  • Mr Mark Stocker - Managing Director, Direction Design Group (DDG), a leading brand consultancy based in Taipei, Taiwan and Shanghai, China.
  • Mr Peter Tay - Founder & Director of Peter Tay Studio (Singapore), Peter is a celebrity interior designer to stars, such as Zhang Ziyi, Stephanie Sun, Zoe Tay and Wang Leehom.
  • Mr Kimming Yap - Entrepreneur & Managing Director of Creativeans (Singapore), an interdisciplinary creative consultancy based in Singapore, Milan and Jakarta

Golden Pin Design Award launches 2018 international call for entries!

The Golden Pin Design Award has four award categories including Product Design, Communication Design, Spatial Design and Integration Design. The award features a panel of local and international design world luminaries as jurors. All entrants who pass the secondary selection will earn a Golden Pin Design Mark and will be in running for the coveted Best Design trophy. The lavish award ceremony in Taipei is a celebrated event for the huaren design community.
