About the Speakers:

Low Jin Wei, IPOS International

Jin Wei is an IP Strategist with IPOS International, possessing over a decade’s experience in advising companies and individuals on intellectual property matters at the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS). A believer in intangible assets as a driver of business growth, she has delivered strategic IP management solutions to diverse industries including telecommunications, medical technology, information technology and retail. In prior IPOS appointments, she helped to shape Singapore’s innovation ecosystem through impact-driven initiatives where she was involved in the pioneer IP Management programmes for government agencies and enterprises to further business growth with IP. She had also served in the frontlines at IPOS Service Centre, setting up operations to facilitate IP rights registration. In 2010, she co-authored the published IP Management Guidelines for Singapore’s public sector and conducted a feasibility study to trial an online market place for investors. Jin Wei holds an Honours degree in Biological Sciences from Nanyang Technological University.

Anna Fong, Questel Singapore

Anna is an IP consultant, researcher and Adjunct A/P in IP management and technology forecasting. She frequently advises government, corporates and startups on IP management and commercialisation matters and is an advocate of using patent mapping for technology insights. Much of her work has been in the IP commercialisation space, both in carrot- and stick-licensing. She is currently the Head of IP Consulting and Services, APAC for Questel Singapore. She has helped companies, academic institutions in the region to scout technology in open innovation and commercialise their technology through licensing and collaboration.
