Speaker Profile

Brandon Chia – Trading Manager, Bell Group

• Manages the company's proprietary trading and hedging desk
• Portfolio strategies include relative value (i.e. long short) and directional trading based on top down and bottom up approach by identifying the seasonal pattern, fundamental analysis, technical analysis on price action and price trend to determine the direction of each commodity market.

Previous Experience

• Worked as Derivatives Commodity Trader for a family office in Singapore where Brandon co-manage a diversified commodity portfolio primarily on agriculture commodities which includes grains, softs, and energies, industrial and precious metal commodities.
• For 9 years Brandon worked on trading strategies for both hedging and speculative opportunities primary on crude palm oil future (FCPO). Experienced in CME, CBOT and TOCOM commodities trading like rubber, crude oil, gold, and all the grains future like soybeans, soybean oil and etc.
• Held other positions at HSBC and UOB
