About this event
To celebrate the opening of the exhibition Can Tech save the World and Art heal it?, let us convene on a panel to talk about one of the most complex and highly- contested topics: Water security.
Water is a vital resource and has become crucial not only for development and combating poverty but also for peace and political stability. Despite being a renewable resource, it is a limited one. More importantly, it is unevenly distributed geographically.
In the global north, we face problems such as micropollutants in the water table. Although countries like Singapore, Switzerland and Canada have highly effective wastewater treatment plants in place, there are still many challenges to overcome in delivering clean water.
Bringing together local and international experts as well as sustainability advocates, the session will discuss innovative approaches in CleanTech water systems and how we can learn from one another to build a more sustainable and equal world.
