About the Exhibition and Programme
This Mothers' Day, Mama on Palette is proud to bring works from eight talented mama artists from their community. They are Alice, Chiei, Joy, Joyce, Kevy, Sarah, Ada and Paroma. Each of them specializes in a different form of art ranging from cartoon to mixed media, to sustainable art.
Hear the inspirational sharing by mama-artists Amanda, Aashika, Chiei, and Alice from the Mama on Palette community on their motherhood journey and how art has benefited them as mothers. Following that will be a cartoon drawing workshop conducted by Mama Alice.
The workshop is for mother-child pairs. Children should be age 3 years and above. Each registration is for a mother-child pair.
This programme accompanies the exhibition by Mama on Palette at Central Public Library that runs from 30 Apr - 17 May.
About Mama on Palette
Mama on Palette is a group of mamas who are enthusiastic about arts, aesthetics, and education. The community was founded by mama artist Alice in 2017 after she became a new mum. Through her pregnancy experience, she discovered art as a tool to keep her mental wellness. Recognizing how much art has benefited her as a mother and with the belief that every mother has the artist talent in her, Alice started building Mama on Palette to gather mothers who love art.
Now with over 500 members, the community is actively engaged with various inspirational motherhood stories and artistic events and tips in Singapore. They aim to become the No.1 go-to platform for parents to learn, practice, and explore arts in Singapore!
