Hands On Skin drumming circle offers a playful rhythmic group experience by playing hand drums that will nurture your inner rhythm and captivate your imagination!

No drumming experience required; basic instructions will be given and off you go!

Rhythm is part of nature and also part of our human nature, with a mother’s heartbeat the first rhythmic connection for the child. Children are naturally curious and drawn to music and rhythm, and especially during childhood, playing with rhythmic patterns stimulates brain development and learning, supports maths, reading and writing, motor skills and coordination, social interaction, listening and focus.

Adults naturally become kids again when immersed in rhythm, touching and playing drums! This will stimulate general feelings of well-being and euphoria, boosting your immune system, release of tenseness, stress or anxiety while offering relaxation, activation and focus.

The best way to experience this is to just try it!!

Session 1 for kids (5yo to 12yo): 3pm - 3:40pm

Session 2 for adults (above 12yo): 4pm - 4:40pm

About Wil Kolen:

Wil originates from Holland and has lived and worked in Singapore since 1995. The concept of Soul Oasis and ‘nurturing your inner rhythm’ has been developed over the last 10 years and is based on Wil’s personal development and innate connection to sound, rhythm and energy, complimented by a lifelong experience as a musician, creative, lecturer/coach. Group based or individual sessions aim to support and strengthen personal (creative) growth and stimulate natural wellbeing on a physical, mental and emotional level into an enhanced lifepath for working and living.

‘Sounds for Living’ is the current sound journey session series, based on weekly changing themes to enhance and maintain personal wellbeing. Sounds for Living will extend into a web-based platform, highlighting and celebrating the influence of sound and music in our daily lives.

‘Hands on Skin’ is the drumming circle session series, tapping into the liberation of your mind, stimulating your general well-being and focus.

FARM DAY OUT REGISTRATION & IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

1. You do not need a general admission ticket if you are only participating in pre-registered activities.

2. Please note that your activity ticket will only grant you admission into Sprout Hub for the duration of the activity (i.e. you are not required to register for a general admission ticket for that time slot). However, if you would like to participate in other aspects of Farm Day Out (i.e. visit vendor booths and participate in other activities) outside of your activity time slot, you would need a separate general admission ticket.

3. To comply with current regulations, please keep to a maximum number of 8 visitors per group. Please respect social distancing rules, wear your masks at all times, observe good personal hygiene and if you feeling unwell, stay home and seek medical attention.
