Description
Held in conjunction with Food&HotelAsia (FHA) 2018, FHA Culinary Challenge (FCC) is the region's leading international culinary competition dedicated to the promotion of culinary excellence. With strong support from World Association of Chef Societies (WACS), Singapore Chefs' Association and regional chefs associations, it is the arena for budding culinary talents from around the world to display their masterly skills and be accredited by a panel of internationally acclaimed judges.
The Gourmet Team Challenge is open to National Teams, Regional Teams and teams from hotels, restaurants, culinary institutions, airlines or catering organisations. Held from 24 to 27 April, two to three teams will present their creation each day at Gourmet Restaurant, a purpose build venue located within FHA 2018.
Each team will prepare a cold edible buffet with one hot appetiser for 30 guests to be served to diners in a cafe setting, akin to the concept of off-site catering.
The following teams will be showcasing their skills over the four-day event.

The Gourmet Restaurant is located with FHA2018, a trade exhibition. Ticket price does not include admission fee to FHA2018. All guests are required to pre-register onine by 12 April 2018 to enjoy waiver of admission fee to the exhibition. Pre-register online here.

Terms and Conditions:
- Ticket price includes buffet lunch, with complimentary coffee and tea. All other beverages are to be purchased onsite and to be charged separately.
- Competition teams prepared the menus in advance to showcase their culinary finese at a venue established for such purpose, and will not be able to accommodate special dietery requests.
- Guests may be required to be seated with other guests in tables of up to 12 guests per table.
- Lunch services will take place from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
- The restaurant has limited seatings per day and will not be able to accommodate additional guests.
- All competition teams prepare a fixed quantity of food. The buffet will not be replenished.
- Admission to the Gourmet Restaurant and FHA is strictly for professionals in the food and hospitality trade only. General public and minors below the age of 18 will not be allowed to enter.
