Join a fun group in this completely beginner-friendly 3-hour workshop, you will learn to produce and bring home a design in pure silver (10 grams worth $50!). Equipment will be provided on loan for this class and silver material is included in the workshop fee.

Participants will use Silver Metal Clay, a new jewellery technology, to create their own design in 999 silver (purer than sterling or 925 silver!).

You can carve, stamp, press or roll the clay into a piece of jewellery art unique to you. With your shape and design created, you will dry your clay to harden it, then put finishing touches on the design before you fire it. After a few minutes at high temperature, the water and binders burn away and the silver particles 'sinter' to create a solid piece of jewellery in 999 silver!

Now you just need to brush and polish to bring out the shine!
