Fireside Chat with Mr Lim Liang Jim: Science of conservation and greening

Mr Lim Liang Jim is the Group Director of NParks' National Biodiversity Centre, which serves as Singapore’s one-stop hub for biodiversity-related information and activities. Under his management, NBC has grown strength to strength, through projects such as the Species Recovery Project, the launch of a turtle hatchery in Sisters' Island Marine Park, and its citizen science programmes. An experienced civil servant, Liang Jim started out his beginnings with a keen interest in studying animals, and has even contributed to the discovery of an endemic skink, the Singapore Swamp Skink (Tytthoscincus temasekensis)!

Come join us for an enriching morning with Mr Lim Liang Jim to learn more about the role of the public sector in biodiversity conservation. This is an informal, small-group session for you to get to know Mr Lim Liang Jim and share your own thoughts as well!
