About the Event
In conjunction with National Family Week, learn from the Sharma family about WHY (it’s important), WHAT (is being done locally) and HOW (people can make more sustainable choices). A communities@libraries initiative not to be missed, with fabulous prizes to be won!
About the Speakers:
The Sharma family (Push and Priya, along with their children Siddh & Shriya) are passionate food sustainability advocates. In the spirit of “being the change we want to see in the world”, the Sharma family has taken it upon themselves to lead by example with their sustainable choices. This passion has taken them on various journeys – from learning about sustainable farming practices, to upcycling leftovers and even creating multi-media communications to broaden people’s understanding of the need for sustainability.
