[For undergrads/grads] Let's chat about life, work & what matters to you...

Hello there!

This session is a commitment of mine to help our youth have a safe space to ask questions about life in general (it can be about Lazada or digital-commerce, or it could be more). It is not easy being a youth these days, and societal expectations come from all over. However, don't fret, you are awesome who you are and you just need to realise that. I lost a youth really precious to me earlier in 2021, and this made me realise the importance of creating safe and supportive environments for our young people to thrive, thus this invitation to you.

Feel free to invite your friends too. Due to Covid-19, I have to cap it to 5 pax in total. Let's find the best of ourselves together.

About Me

I am a proud dad of 2 lovely kids (to be teens in a couple of years), a blessed husband and and a contented yet ambitious individual. Aside to leading the youth initiatives in Lazada, I too, volunteer as the Executive Director of the Mentoring Alliance of Singapore and also the Founder and Advisory Member of Voices Of Asia. Together with our volunteers, we have built WeConnect, a tech innovation to extend this safe and supportive space via technology.

I spent almost 20 years of my life doing all sorts of really cool stuff such as

• Starting a printing company
• Building an app
• Working for a start up which IPO-ed
• Working for a local govt-linked company
• Worked as a leadership & strategy consultant
• Working for MNCs such as Apple, DHL & Unilever
• Worked for a really fast-paced tech company like Alibaba/Lazada
• Lead non-profit organisations and national movements

I also did various roles such as

• And I believe more will come... as I keep learning...

One thing for sure. I found a common thread between all these dots, and have built a strong sense of purpose, that is, YOUth, the young people of the world. I truly believe that if we can help point you the right way, you can create miracles, which then will impact the world greatly.

This explains why I set aside time every week, just to listen to your questions and try to provide some answers and/or point you the right way to get them.
