Description
Welcome to FreedomFilmFest 2017 Singapore. This is the sixth edition presented in Singapore by Function 8 Ltd. FFF 2017 premiered at Petaling Jaya on 2 - 9 September. Organised by FreedomFilm Network, the festival 2017 theme is "All human beings are free and equal", a concept which is seemingly simple and natural yet not substantively attained since being encapsulated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. 40 films were screened at Jaya One, PJ Arts Centre.
FFF 2017 Singapore is a two day event, starting on Saturday, 11th and 12th November. We have a selected 12 wonderful films to be featured on the two days. In addition, 2 new features were specially curated for this year event. On 12 November, the inaugural "Citizen Cinema" will be launched, showcasing entries by Singapore filmmakers, to be followed by a panel discussion on "Film Censorship in Singapore".
