About the Programme/Event
In this workshop, we will be exploring the ways people fall in and out of friendships via a series of discussions, in-class readings and ideating exercises. The aim will be to see how the mercurial nature of friendships might be utilised to our advantage as storytellers, and as essential building blocks in our ideation of characters and storylines within our practices of fiction.Personal Data VPersonal Data Vault (PDV) (nlb.gov.sg)ault (PDV) (nlb.gov.sg)

About Writing the City
We are a literary arts platform in Singapore which supports a community of new, emerging and established prose writers to develop their writing craft. We provide a space for writers in Singapore to share their work, and to give and receive feedback.
Our focus is on writing craft and technique in a Singaporean context. We organise monthly workshops, and with each workshop we explore a specific thread of the writing craft.
