Description
Future of Work Forum 2018
Digitalisation, automation and innovation are changing the fundamental nature of work. Understanding these shifts can help business leaders and HR professionals plan ahead. It will be critical for organisations to have an enterprise “future of work” roadmap combining different functions across HR, IT, business strategy and finance, with an actionable view of talent, training and development, communication, leadership, culture, and organisational impacts.
The Dialogue with Mr Chee Hong Tat, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communication and Information & Ministry of Health, will touch on Cultivating a Healthy and Productive Workforce. With a growing workforce, it is inevitable that healthcare plays an important part in the workplace ecosystem. To build a healthier and progressive workforce, we have to focus on encouraging individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles. This would require the collective efforts of all stakeholders to work closely together to overcome these challenges.
In a first of its kind report done in collaboration with HR Tech startup EngageRocket, the Near Future of Work Report dives into disruptive forces within the Singapore workforce which we will experience within the next few years. EngageRocket co-founder and CEO would share the insights from interviews of business and HR leaders in Singapore on what they saw would impact them the most in the near future.
The fireside chat themed ‘Re-imagine the Future Workplace’ will dive into how business and HR leaders play a critical role in pivoting their organisations amidst a rapidly changing business and technological landscape. The rise of digital workplaces and mobile workforces, paired with the growing diversity of views and expectations across employees are also at the heart of the shift. Today’s business and HR leaders must rethink and reimagine the future of work to drive organisational capabilities and transform workplaces while creating an innovative, collaborative and engaging employee experience.
