Tour synopsis:
Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Singapore Botanic Gardens have featured prominently in Singapore’s and the world’s history, from the countless wedding pictures taken at the tree depicted on the 5-dollar note, to the spread of the rubber tree in the region. Some of the park's gems, such as bamboo bats or the tree Tampines was named after, lie waiting to be discovered on this 2-hour stroll around the Tanglin Core, the oldest section of the Gardens.
