About This Course

This 5 day course covers the design of systems for natural gas handling and treatment from the wellhead to the gas processing plant to achieve marketable products that meet desired product specifications.

The course will emphasise on field handling equipment and separation systems, dehydration, fluid measurement, sampling and analysis, introduction into reciprocating and centrifugal compressors.

The course consists of five days interactive presentations including two case studies.

Who Should Attend

Production and processing personnel involved with natural gas and associated liquids to acquaint or reacquaint themselves with gas conditioning and processing unit operations. This course is for production Operations Engineers, Operations Field Supervisors, Facility Engineers, Process Engineers, Design Engineers, operations personnel and others that select, design, install, evaluate or operate gas processing plants and related facilities.

About the Trainer

Hans Groote

Hans Groote is a Production Engineer who has worked in the Oil & Gas Exploration and Production industry in Europe, Africa the Middle East and the Far East since 1973. He has working experience in (oil)field & terminal operations, well completions, planning & programming, hydrocarbon administration and has held the position of Offshore Installation Manager in the British sector of the North Sea when the recommendations of Lord Cullen were being implemented (1990-1993).
